Ingredients

For the Carolina Gold Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Sandwiches:

  • 3 cups pre cooked pulled pork
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • Coleslaw optional but recommended

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the mustard, honey, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Place the pre cooked pulled pork in a large skillet over medium heat. Add a few tablespoons of water or broth if it looks dry. Cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
  • Pour the Carolina Gold sauce over the warm pork. Stir to coat evenly and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes so the flavors soak in.
  • Spoon the saucy pulled pork onto toasted sandwich buns. Top with coleslaw if using and drizzle with extra sauce if desired. Serve immediately.
