Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds (680 g) boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 4 tablespoons (59 ml) Oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) ginger grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon (8 g) sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons (12 g) sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into thick slices.
  • Mix together all of the sauce ingredients in a sealable plastic bag.
  • Place the chicken in the bag and marinate in the sauce for 2 hours.
  • Thread the chicken slices onto skewers.
  • Preheat the grill to 400° F. When hot, place the chicken skewers on the grill and cook for 2 minutes per side. Baste with a bit of the remaining sauce. Cook until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165° F. Remove from the grill and serve with sesame seeds and green onions as garnish.
