Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (118 ml) maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup (118 ml) bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons (28 g) butter
  • 2 tablespoons (24 g) brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a light boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 20-30 minutes, until the glaze becomes syrupy.
  • Use immediately or allow to cool before storing in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for later use. It will last about 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
