Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds bone-in skin-on chicken thighs 8 pieces
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Mix the marinade ingredients together in a Ziplock bag or large bowl. Reserve 2 tablespoons for basting later on.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the marinade. Refrigerate for 3 hours or up to 24 hours.
  • When ready to grill, discard the remaining marinade.
  • Preheat the grill to 400° F. Place chicken thighs on grill grates and grill for approximately 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature in the thickest part of the thigh reads 165 degrees F.

Notes

  • Reserve a little bit of marinade before adding the chicken. You can use that to baste the chicken as it cooks on the grill.
  • Marinade cannot be reused.
