About Legends of the Grill

We’re a family of grillers. We’ve been backyard grilling and smoking our whole lives. It wasn’t truly the weekend without a grill full of ribs, brats on the barbecue, and perfectly smoked brisket hot off the pit.

We started this site because we’re brimming with knowledge about the grill, and we have dozens of great recipes to share with all who love barbecue, whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been at the grill for years.

We take our jobs very seriously and aim to provide only the most accurate, useful information. All of our product reviews are genuine and well researched and our recipes are rigorously tested.

Meet the team

Our team is based in California and Oregon. We’re a family operation that’s dedicated to great grilling. You’ll find us out there at the grill every chance we get! Whether it’s perfecting a recipe to share or testing a new product, we’re always at it.

CEO and Founder

Laura Lynch

Laura has been running websites for most of her career, starting out as a journalist with a BA degree in English, then 15 years working on U.S. Embassy websites before starting her first website, Savored Journeys in 2014. She owns and operates 9 websites, including this one!

Chief Technology Officer

Nick Lynch

Nick is our CTO. He fixes anything that breaks and keeps the site running in tip top shape. He has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Cal Poly University and enjoys making beer, rollerblading, playing video games, and traveling around the world.

Manager / Product Tester

Angie Morris

Angie is our website manager and social media guru. She spends a lot of time interacting with our readers when she’s not in the kitchen cooking up something delicious. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and hanging out with her 2 grown kids.
